Job Description

As a Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Industry Department. The department’s expertise covers the entire advisory and development process for investment and replacement projects in the Gas, Chemical, and Food sectors. The core business is engineering and consultancy in the areas of Process, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation.

You will be a key player in various mono- and multidisciplinary projects. You will be responsible for creating technical designs, starting from sketches, instructions, program of requirements or functional specifications, for tendering or execution. You will provide technical advice to clients, make (partial) budgets and schedules, and work closely with the engineers and draftsmen within your projects. As the owner of various projects, you will be responsible for the necessary reporting and correspondence. The activities take place during various project phases, i.e., from concept to commissioning and operation.
You will maintain contacts with clients, suppliers, and specialists, internally and externally in order to provide the best technical solutions.

Required skills

Desired expertise, experience, and preferences

• A relevant completed bachelor’s or master’s degree with a background in electrical, instrumentation, and automation.
• Extensive experience as an engineer, preferably gained in an industrial environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing industrial installations.
• Demonstrable practical field experience.
• High level of ownership and customer focus.
• Interest in the application of technology.
• Interest in topics such as sustainability and circularity.
• Fluent in English.
