Your role

As a Truck / Trailer Mechanic, you diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles from leading brands such as Mercedes-Benz, DAF and Scania to ensure optimal performance and safety. You work with advanced diagnostic tools, troubleshoot mechanical and electronic faults, and perform repairs on key systems such as engines, transmissions, braking, hydraulics and pneumatics. You stay up to date with the latest truck technologies through ongoing training and apply your technical expertise to solve complex issues efficiently.

ou’ll be working at one of the leading automotive companies in the Netherlands. Representing brands like Mercedes-Benz, Ford, and Kia, this company operates multiple locations across Northern and Eastern Netherlands. As a van mechanic, you’ll work in well-equipped workshops with the latest tools and technologies. You’ll be part of a close-knit team where your growth and well-being matter.  

To ensure the right match, we arrange a fully organized, three-day paid internship in the Netherlands. Raespo takes care of everything – from your flight and accommodation to the internship itself – so you can focus on experiencing the company, getting to know the team, and exploring the country. Is it a match? Then we provide full support in settling in the Netherlands, including finding accommodation and guiding you through the necessary integration steps. 

What they offer

• Gross monthly salary: €2,600 – €3,200 (depending on experience and certifications)  

• Full-time contract (40 hours/week)  

• Full relocation support, including housing and administrative assistance  

• 8% holiday pay and a solid pension plan  

• Travel allowance 

What you bring

• Several years of experience as a van mechanic or similar technical role  

• A passion for vehicles and hands-on work  

• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands

6. Visit to the Netherlands: Travel to the Netherlands to meet the team and experience the work environment firsthand (expenses covered). 
7. Offer: If everything goes well, you’ll receive an offer from the employer, including terms and conditions. 
8. START: After accepting the offer, we’ll finalize all administrative and logistical details to facilitate your move and integration, including accommodation and integration assistance.
