Your Role

As a Volvo Truck Mechanic, you diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. You work with advanced diagnostic tools, troubleshoot mechanical and electronic faults, and perform repairs on key systems such as engines, transmissions, braking, hydraulics, and pneumatics. You stay up to date with the latest truck technologies through ongoing training and apply your technical expertise to solve complex issues efficiently.

About the Company

Our client is a leading service provider for Volvo trucks, specializing in maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. Working with the latest technology and high-quality standards, they ensure that commercial vehicles remain reliable and roadworthy. To ensure the right match, we arrange a fully organized, three-day paid internship in the Netherlands. Raespo takes care of everything – from your flight and accommodation to the internship itself – so you can focus on experiencing the company, getting to know the team, and exploring the country. Salary range (gross): €2,850 – €3,500 (based on experience and qualifications)

What you bring

MBO diploma in truck/commercial vehicle technology

Knowledge of diagnostics, electronics (ABS, EBS, CAN-bus), hydraulics, and pneumatics

Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., WABCO), hand tools, and workshop equipment

APK 1, 2 and/or tachograph certification, Volvo-specific training

At least 5 years of experience as a Volvo truck mechanic

Problem-solving mindset, precision, physical fitness, and strong safety awareness

Basic English or German is an advantage

Driving License (Preferred): Category C or CE
